Masparts' story

After a long training period of working in various auto body shops, Roberto qualifies as a specialized mechanic for Bepi Koelliker S.p.A. Roberto participates in diverse electronic and mechanic refresher and specialization courses. In 1989 Roberto left Bepi Koelliker to join Autofuori S.r.l., a parallel import company of Japanese off-road vehicles, as head of the body shop. By the end of 1990, Roberto began importing a few American vehicles and in 1991 he began an out-and-out import of automobiles parts and accessories from the USA and Canada. At Autofuori, as well as carrying out periodic maintenance, Roberto also made varied renovations and preparations. At the end of 1992 Roberto moved to Yonkers 10704 NY in the US and worked for Jack's Automotive Inc in Larchmount, New York. There he acquired more experience with American cars. Roberto returned to Italy for personal reasons and was immediately called to take the position as body shop head at Garage Americano S.n.c., a small company of the Autofuori group that only offers assistance and imported parts and accessories from America. In 1997 Garage Americano’s team moved to Monza and Roberto remained in Milan as head of the body shop for General Motors, part of Achilli Motors S.p.A. (only important general motors for Italy 1992 - 1995), and dealer of the best car makers in the world. Roberto ends this collaboration in December of 2004 and in January of 2005, to the joy of his clients, opens Masparts in Milan.
